Forest Babies

Children aged 18 months to 4 years and their parent or caregiver discover the wonders of farm life and explore the entire farm during these child-led and technology-free outdoor sessions.

Forest Babies socialize, walk and crawl on all kinds of terrain, dig in soil, explore their senses, feed and observe animals, harvest and taste in the garden, make music and listen to nature sounds. Space is limited to 10 children.

Age: 18 months to 4 years

Lesson duration: 2 hours, Wednesdays starting April 9, 9:30-11:30am

Semesters offered: Spring (Apr-June) and Fall (Sept-Nov)

Potential benefits: Socializing; friendship; sharing; fun; independence and confidence; coordination; risk-taking in a safe environment; sensory explorations; experiencing new tastes and scents; fostering an interest in nature and animals; time spent outdoors and away from technology.

Fees: $400 for 8 lessons

Forest Families

Summer fun on the farm! Children will discover the wonders of farm life by exploring our half-acre vegetable garden and interacting with our chickens, goats, ponies and sheep. 

Parents or caregivers stay with younger child(ren) while supporting older child(ren) as needed.

Age: 18 months to 5 years

Lesson duration: July 14-17, 9:30am-12:30pm

Semester offered: Summer

Fees: $300 for the first child, $240 for each additional child
